Wave of Light

Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 15, is designated as 'Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day'. I know WE do not need a special day to remember our babies but it is nice that it is there.

Tomorrow night there is a 'Wave of Light' to be held at 7pm- you are encouraged to light a candle and place it outside for at least an hour. In that way there will be a wave of light throughout the timezones as these candles help remember our children.

Also, tomorrow morning I will have a post here so we all can add our babies names. However did this blog get 90 followers? And yet I know that is the tip of the iceberg for grieving moms. ((HUGS)) to us all.

I hope today is gentle for you-
peace-
emily

PS: Flood update: They tell me I will be back in my home mid next week. Fingers crossed! I promise to be a better blogger when I've got better internet.

I'm lighting a candle too... (hopefully I won't forget)... and I am hoping to get back to my annual wave of light slideshow after where everyone sends their photos of their candle to me and I make a slideshow. I didn't do this last year with my husband in the hospital.

anyway. Check out my blog today, I have a special post for Pregnancy and Infant loss parents... and you may wish to get involved... so check it out! :)

I have it post on my For Your Tears site and will post it tomorrow on my everyday site to hopefully give awareness to those that don't know. I pray for the comfort of every mother and father who are living that journey.

I've tried to be patient, with the flood and all,but is it okay to let you know, I've missed you?

I will be lighting a candle tomorrow as well.. Coincidentally, Monday was a year since Seth went to Heaven. My pastor and his wife gave our family a beautiful pillar candle!

Thanks for letting us know about the wave of light. I will be sure to light one for our baby tomorrow. My due date would have been last Thursday. So this is particularly important to me. I may even light a couple extra for a friend and a cousin who also suffered losses this year.
