Making a List!

I hate when people talk about TV shows and then if you haven't seen it they proceed to tell you the whole plot of the sitcom. You know? But that's what I'm kind of going to do.

We watched the Office last night. Well, dh watched it. I was trying to read. I try to say I don't like that show. But then I find myself watching it. And laughing.

Anyway, Michael started his own paper company. When Pam showed up for work the first day (at his house) he was still in his robe. Unable to get dressed- overwhelmed by what he had gotten himself into. She told him when she is overwhelmed she makes a list. And feels better crossing things off of it. (Something like that- I tell you, I was trying not to watch it ;0)

But that's what I need today. A big fat list of everything annoying or bothering me. All the loose ends. And then either FINISH some of them (make a darn dentist appointment, already! Clear off and dust my desk!) or LET IT GO. Ok! Lose 30 pounds ain't happening today. But I can maybe take a walk. Drink a glass of water.

That's what I'm going to work on this weekend.

C'mon, Emily. Get going!

I love lists! I'm always making lists...

The satisfaction of crossing the things off when they're done is great!

I write lists but I fail to complete them.

Sometimes I put things on my list that I've already done just so I can cross them off. How lame is that ;0)

I did do quite a few things today!

I wanna see your list!! LOL

I love lists! I really enjoy crossing things off! No, like really enjoy it.

I will put things on my list that are soo simple just so that I can cross it off.

And some days when I'm down in the dumps, making lists about picking up three things off the floor or cleaning off one counter or putting away the all I can handle. If the list is full of simple things, I can take things one at a time.

My hubby is the other way...if there is more than 4 things on the list, he gets totally overhelmded and can't even take one step at a time.

So I guess it's to each their own.

Lists are a habit I'd love to get into.. but I keep procrastinating Making the list.. then it just becomes something else I didn't do in a day..

Hey, Emily, I picked you for a Friendship award.

Thanks for the awards! I'll pass them along soon.

I always have a list going.. I put a piece of paper up next to my computer so I can jot things down instead of having to remember them in my head

I just spend 45 minutes on the phone talking to someone about refinancing the house and came over to cross it off- but it wasn't on the list to start with. D'oh! Put it on... cross it off!
